The Pink Picnic is Salford’s annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans & Non-binary, plus pride celebration. The event takes place in Peel Park, Salford and is organised and delivered by Salford Pride.
Our mission is to work to build a stronger, diverse community that celebrates inclusion and equality; where LGBTQ+ people are represented, thrive and live authentically, in our city and beyond.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Following feedback from 2025, Salford Pride has introduced updated entry requirements for 2026. Full details can be found via the link below.
Each adult aged 18+ is permitted to bring up to four cans of alcohol on their first entry, please note that re-entry with alcohol is not allowed
Bags and coolers on wheels are permitted, provided they do not exceed the size limit of 50cm x 50cm x 50cm.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and soft drinks, as long as these are not in single-use packaging (such as crisp packets or sweet wrappers). Please pack food in reusable containers, like lunch boxes or Tupperware, and ensure soft drinks are in cans or cartons. Empty reusable bottles can also be brought along to make use of the free water refill stations available on-site.

At Salford Pride, we’re committed to making sure everyone can enjoy the event comfortably and confidently. Accessible entry tickets are available for guests with disabilities who may need a quicker or easier queuing experience.

THE HISTORY OF THE PINK PICNIC
The Pink Picnic first started in 2011 as The Peel Park Pink Picnic. Many years later the event has grown into both a national and international recognised pride celebration, that attracts thousands of attendees from across Greater Manchester and beyond, becoming Greater Manchester’s largest grassroots pride celebration.
