Why Volunteer For Salford Pride?
Salford Pride wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible support of our volunteers. We're a grassroots, community-led celebration of LGBTQ+ life in Salford and beyond, and our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
By volunteering, you're not only supporting a local Pride event built by and for the community, you're also helping to create a safe, inclusive space where LGBTQ+ people and allies can connect, celebrate, and thrive. It’s a chance to meet new people, build skills, and be part of something meaningful, right here in Salford.
Salford Pride offer a variety of roles on the day for people to support with, these include accessibility, front of house, general stewarding, hospitality and more. We offer half day or full day opportunities.

Who Can Volunteer For Salford Pride?
Absolutely anyone! We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. Whether you're LGBTQ+ or an ally, your support helps build a stronger, more inclusive community.
You must be aged 16 or over to volunteer, anyone under the age of 18 must provide proof of authorisation from a parent 18+ giving permission to volunteer. Volunteers maybe required to complete a DBS check provided by Salford Pride.
