As our event grows, we are implementing new health and safety regulations. These include NEW alcohol restrictions, see below.

To speed through the ticket checking area, please use clear bags where possible.

The following items are not permitted on site at the Pink Picnic.

Anybody with the following items will be refused entry into the Pink Picnic area.

  • RECREATIONAL DRUGS.

  • SHARP OBJECTS, KNIVES or WEAPONS.

  • BARBECUES & FIRE-PITS.

  • GASOLINE, GAS CANISTERS & AEROSOLS. Lighters & vapes are ok.

  • GAZEBO’S & MARQUEES.

  • PLASTIC GARDEN FURNITURE, TABLES & NON-FOLDABLE CHAIRS. Foldable chairs & blankets are ok.

  • CONFETTI & CONFETTI CANONS

  • BIKES & SCOOTERS. Prams & mobility scooters are allowed.

NEW - Cherish the Planet - reduce our carbon footprint

As part of new enhanced 2024 health & safety regulations, and to cement our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, the following items will NOT be allowed within the Pink Picnic area.

  • GLASS or GLASS BOTTLES.

  • SINGLE USE PLASTIC CUPS, WINE GLASSES & BOTTLES. Water filling stations will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle with you.

NEW - Alcohol storage and limits per person

Vendors will be onsite for you to purchase all types of alcohol. You may bring in a small amount of alcohol for personal use as long as it adheres to the following. Excess alcohol will be taken off you at the ticket check area, as will non-conforming containers.

  • EACH PERSON CAN BRING EITHER 8 CANS OF BEER, LAGER or ALES, OR 8 CANS OF SPIRIT & MIXER OR 8 CANS OF WINE/PROSECCO.

Waste disposal

Waste bins will be provided through out the venue. We encourage you to take home your litter. Please do not leave litter in the park.

If you leave your litter in the park the volunteers, who will have worked all day, will need to clear the park before we hand it back to Salford Council.

PLEASE BE ADVISED BAG CHECKS WILL BE IN PLACE AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE EVENT.

Pets are welcome at The Pink Picnic

The Pink Picnic is a pet-friendly event however we do ask that pets are kept on a lead at all times. Pets should be comfortable with large crows, other pets and children.
